Alex Wild is Curator of Entomology at The University of Texas at Austin and has been a world-renowned macrophotographer since the early 2000s. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from The University of California/Davis and conducts research on the evolution and classification of ants. Alex is a founding instructor of the BugShot workshop series, and his photographs appear in numerous natural history museums, magazines, books, television programs, video games, and other media.
